Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Location: Anywhere in India (Remote)

Required Qualification: B Tech/ MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Job Description:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Able to write SQL queries on their own for DB validations.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Job Specification:

Proven work experience of 3-5 years as a Quality assurance Tester having Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Must be Solid Experience of SQL and scripting. (Able to write complex queries on own for DB validations and Power BI Validations)
  • Must be Experienced in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test artefacts: test plans, Test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Have working experience in areas of Agile and DevOps.
  • Good to know about Azure.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing /API testing is a plus.

Nice to have skills:

  • ISTQB/ISEB certifications is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills to work effectively with Scrum team members and clients and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
